What a mighty move of God we experienced at the Spring Gathering 2026 in Winston-Salem, NC!
To every Bishop, Apostle, Pastor, leader, minister, volunteer, and attendee—thank you for your presence, your support, and your commitment in making this gathering a truly historic success. The spirit of unity was not just our theme—it was on full display from beginning to end. What we witnessed together was powerful, unforgettable, and a testament to what happens when God’s people come together on one accord.
We extend heartfelt appreciation to our gracious hosts, the Southern Diocese, with special thanks to Bishop James Hayes and Pastor Gregory Robertson, Sr. for your leadership, hospitality, and excellence in execution. You have served this fellowship well, and we honor you.
As we celebrate what God has done, we also look ahead with great expectation! We are excited to gather again on June 6 for a special event (details coming soon), and for our 85th Holy Convocation in Martinsville, VA, July 21–25, under the theme:
“Continuing in the Spirit of Unity.”
As you travel back to your respective homes, we pray God grants each of you safe travels and continued grace.

Pleasing to God
In this powerful reflection titled “A Life Well Pleasing to God,” Presiding Bishop H. Jerome Betts encourages believers to grow into spiritual maturity through the transforming work of Christ. Drawing from Hebrews 13:20–21, he reminds us that it is God Himself who “makes us perfect in every good work to do His will,” equipping His people through the grace made available by the blood of the everlasting covenant. Bishop Betts emphasizes that just as a child is born with everything needed to mature, every believer receives spiritual graces at the new birth—strength, guidance, and the fruit of the Spirit—so they may live a life that reflects Christ and brings pleasure to God.
